WESTERN ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. 5th century BC. Obol (?) (Silver, 7 mm, 0.49 g). Head of Apollo to left. Rev. Monogram within circular incuse. Gitbud & Naumann 34 (2015), 152. Gorny & Mosch 208 (2012), 1466. Cf. Naumann 99 (2021), 110 (same type in bronze). Very rare. A darkly toned and particularly attractive example of this enigmatic issue. Good very fine.
